Having Trouble with Intuit Merchant Services Payment Gateway

Hi guys,

I think I'm just about out of the woods on my Wordpress-CiviCRM-Intuit implementation, but have hit one last snag: when I try to run either a live or test transaction, I get the following error message:

Payment Processor Error message
58: unable to use client certificate (no key found or wrong pass phrase?)

I've opted to use the desktop security method rather than hosted, because I was hoping to sidestep the complicated maneuvering of setting up keys and certificates, and whatnot (my site is SSL encrypted, btw... I just didn't want to mess with the whole extra layer Intuit imposes). Also, Intuit asks for various callback URLs which aren't relevant to my site, since we're not doing a traditional membership model, but rather just using CiviCRM for course signups and the other CRM functionality.

Therefore, I don't understand why Intuit would even be looking for a 'client certificate'.

I think I got close to some useful information in this thread, but that situation appears to be different in the fact that the hosted security method is used, rather than desktop.

I've combed through the setup documentation very carefully, and tested my application at Intuit's test page. Wit's end here. Please help?  ???

I should add that we're also using WooCommerce for our products, and it connects to the gateway and runs the transactions perfectly.

I'm stumped.  :P
