Compiled custom template files?

hello everyone

Does anyone know where the compiled template files are kept for custom templates?  Having a bit of trouble debugging one of those and reckon if I could see the .php it might help...

Its in the same places as the core template compiled files. for WP its typically in:

wp-content/plugins/files/civicrm/templates_c/

I looked there but a search didn't reveal anything with my custom template name in it - will have another look...

Nope still nothing - listed all the .php files under wp-content/plugins/files/civicrm/templates_c/ - latest modified was yesterday, and not my custom template which I have been working on today.
