Password, Username and Site Key for Cron Job
April 09, 2013, 04:33:26 am
I have set up a cron job, but I'm being told that I "need to send a valid user name and password to execute this file". I just want to check to see if I'm using the right details (I suspect I am not). It's a Wordpress install:

Username: is this is the users Wordpress login name??
Password: is this is the users Wordpress password??
Site Key: I retrieved this from the civicrm.settings file, right?

Sounds right to me (although my site is running drupal).  I made a (drupal) user account specifically for the civi cron jobs and used that user's login name and pw for the cron job, with the key being CIVICRM_SITE_KEY from civicrm.settings.php.

Turns out there was a conflict with Contact Form 7 as per this post http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,27077.0.html
