Relative Date search for >= and <= time frames?
April 09, 2013, 09:07:59 am

I have an ever present problem of trying to identify which members have renewed vs which are new.  I am not sure if Civi has an easy search to do this, however my initial thought was to search for members whose 'Member Since' date is greater than 1 year and whose 'Member Start' date is within the last month.

The problem is that the relative dates drop-down boxes dont seem to include terms such as within the last day/week/month/year or beyond the last day/week/month/year.

Any idea's, or do you know if this functionality is coming?   If not, I can look into adding it.

thanks

hey there,

http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/member?reset=1 the dashboard does have information about new vs. renewals.  might be worth looking at how that gets created / creating a report that works in a similar way / extending that?
