Drush Civicrm commands not working after upgrade

Hello Civi folk,

After a successful upgrade from Civi 4.1.6 to 4.2.9 drush commands for civicrm are not working, even after clearing drush cache. Drush returns "command not found" errors for all civicrm related drush commands. Drupal commands with Drush are running fine.

Ideas?

are there any other more meaningful errors in the logs anywhere? if you type drush on its own, can you see any of the civicrm commands? are you running the latest version of drush?
