CRM_Core_DAO not found
April 10, 2013, 07:14:36 pm
I am getting this error randomly appear as I try to add a new slide using the plugin Reponsive Slider http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/responsive-slider/.  I am not sure if this is restricted to this slider alone, but so far it appears that way

Please select a CiviCRM front-end page type.
Fatal error: Class 'CRM_Core_DAO' not found in /home/hfvorgau/public_html/wp-content/plugins/civicrm/civicrm.php on line 625

I thought I should post it here since the error code is specific to CiviCRM.

The site is running a customized version of "Responsive Theme"  from ThemeID.  I just picked up this project mid-way for a client so I am not sure what customizations were made to the theme, or if those customizations are related to the error.  I have take a screen-shot of the dashboard page I am seeing the error on.

It looks like civicrm is trying to query its database without being properly initialized.
The random text "Please select a CiviCRM front-end page type." was a problem in the betas but has been fixed in 4.3.0. Try upgrading.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
