need to include 'non searchable fields" in report
April 10, 2013, 10:24:29 pm
Top donor report is perfect for my non profit - allowing select by date and contribution type and showing aggregate for each donor
HOWEVER
I need to include about 25 custom fields in the report - I think I know how to expose custom fields in criteria but it only works if they're searchable and we've already used up our quota of searchable fields.

Is there anyway to modify the report to expose 'non searchable fields?

OR there's an sql command line query here
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC41/Individuals+and+Households+With+Contributions

Would I be better off trying something like that - I do only need a csv output.

And I'd be totally flying by the seat of my pants to do either quite frankly so any easier suggestions much appreciated.

Normal csv export obviously gives me the custom fields, and the contributions, but no aggregate. If I use Excel to subtotal it works fine but I lose all the other fields.

Thanks all.

I would recommend creating a new report according to your needs.
