Did you know civicrm has Intrusion Detection? PHPIDS
April 16, 2013, 06:14:58 pm
I didnt!  I just started seeing some errors in the log, which look like real attacks.  I see that PHPIDS is in the packages folder and on by default.  There is a config file in that directory.  Is that config file used or does the application configure it dynamically?  I ask because I would like to research the following:
1. Is caching enabled - should it be?
2. Can the IP address be logged and sent to the firewall to ban?
3. Can we change some of the rules, or have additional control?

Glad to see this here, just stumbled on it, want to see if we can leverage a bit more

Is there any documentation on using civicrm and IDS?
