4.3.0 Event Registration
April 16, 2013, 07:08:03 pm
Hi there,

I use CiviCRM with Drupal for race registration for our sailboat racing season. I am not paid and there is no funding for the site.

I have been using CiviCRM for years, and I usually trust the upgrades. With this one, when people get to the confirmation page of our race registration, they get a page full of errors before the listing of their choices and the ability to continue. Here is some of the error list:

I am having the same problem.

The confirmation form is still there, but it is about five screens below the error messages.

I am so glad I am not the only one.

I love CiviCRM, but sometimes these upgrades just make me crazy. If I got paid for this stuff, it might be different. Still, there is no better not-for-profit combo than CiviCRM + Drupal.

Cheers,

jason

Thank you very much! I am trying to overcome the urge to just revert to the previous db and CiviCRM version.

On a separate but related note, I would love to see someone posting a blog entry with every CiviCRM update that mentions the ability to perform that particular CiviCRM upgrade with the command-line Drush or not.

I actually feel safer now running Drush than that the long update chain I have to go thru for CiviCRM alone.

Thanks,

jason

Hi Jason,

These are 'notices,' not 'errors,' in working with an array. Can I ask what your Drupal error reporting level is set at?

You can check through Drupal at: admin/config/development/logging

Try setting it to "none."

I dropped my error reporting to none. Thanks for the tip!

I look forward to 4.3.1
