Organisation Sign Up Process

Hello,

I want to implement a contribution page as a member sign up form which supports organizations.
So that, an organization can sign up with paying the member fee.
After that, an employee can sign up for free.

With minimum amount of back end configuration (setting employee to the orginsation), is it possible to achieve this?

sounds like a one-off fee in which case
- set up a membership type to be life
- make a contribution page that allows 'contribute on behalf of org'
- set up the rest of the contrib page as required eg Membership, Price Set, Thank You etc

you may also want to read up about 'inherited memberships' ie you can let the Org membership also cover individuals that have a specified Relationship with the Org

Thanks for the reply!

What confuses me is the Membership Organization option in the Membership Types.
Why do I have to choose one organization for a membership type.

Also, if i am choosing an organization for a membership type, and if I give user the option to choose an organization, which one the user will be attached to?

what are they becoming a 'member' of

usually the 'organisation' in is your overarching organisation/business/charity/non-profit.

Lets say users are becoming member of company A with paying some amount of money.

And I want to create a sign up form for other organizations to become members so that their employees can register for free.

In this case Company B will pay 200 pounds and become a member of Company A.
And employees of Company B will register for free to become a member of Company A.

I am wondering how can i develop this process with Civicrm?

Maybe create a different Membership Type for each Company - and have a separate contribution page for the sign up for each
