Excellent. There really is a lack of a decent book for CiviCRM. The other one was outdated.

I am but it's not as easy to understand. For a new user CiviCRM is really complicated and has so many rules.
You need examples, to show you why it works the way it does and allow better understanding.

Using CiviCRM is two years old, and outdated. I am struggling with some parts of CiviCRM and there is no detailed guide with lots of examples available.

Hoping the new book is that resource!

I was hoping to have helped proof read, but that didn't seem to happen. I'm on Packt's reviewers list, so maybe I should snap up a copy and do a review :)

Well - done - make sure you write a blog about it too for greater profile. If you need rights to blog on CiviCRM contact someone (e.g. on IRC) to arrange it
