The Drupal guys are planning events for NGOs (incl charities and other non-for-profit organisations), and will invite us to present at these.
Given that the focus is on Drupal, then I guess the presentation we need to give should focus on
  • that CiviCRM is designed specifically for the needs of NFP organisations
  • it is tightly integrated with Drupal, although it also integrates with Joomla and Wordpress (will need some up-to-date estimates of numbers of installations)
  • there are a number of contributed Drupal modules that enhance CiviCRM when integrated with Drupal (eg Webform-CiviCRM)
I don't have any dates/locations for these events yet, but I am on their list of contacts, so will post updates here when I know more.
