I have a list of people paying us regularly through a bank standing order and I want to be able to use a batch entry to put in their contributions.

The contributions profile has all the information I need and works. But I am trying to find a way to avoid creating the same list over and over again.

I have created a smart group which gives me a list of the contacts paying this way. But when I choose batch update by profile ->  select profile I am not able to access the contributions profile.

Is this a problem or am I doing something wrong here?

Alternatively, is there another way of creating a default list for batch payments?

The batch contribution capability is already there in 4.2. I haven't seen anything in the blogs on new features in the upgrade to 4.3 which mention any improvements in this area.

I checked out the demo version (which is running version 4.3) and found the same issues.

I am suspecting that I haven't quite worked out how to do this properly - although I have had a good exploration of the options.
