Full Text Search not searching some address fields

Is there a config for this - i don't see it here
http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/setting/search?reset=1

But tested on demo and confirmed that data in Additional Address 1 and 2 fields are not being found using Full Text Search.

Go look at

http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/view?reset=1&cid=100

has wombat and dingbat in those fields

Try Full Text searching for wombat or dingbat on demo currently. I get nada

those columns are not included in full text search (was not a requirement for the client who wanted it initially)

however i do think switching to a system like solr for better full text searching of all fields is a solution for the medium/long term

Not a biggie - just wondered if it was a known constraint - and since it is, i wonder if the documentation reflects that - must say i have been known to tell clients that it searches 'everything'

yes agree something like solr would be nice to investigate longer term
