Hi

We have a membership system where we require a one-off lifetime membership fee to be paid before allowing the member to subscribe to other memberships within the site - is there a way to comfigure this?

Thanks

This sounds more like an 'admin fee' and you should be able to do this via a Price Set and 'require' that component.

Then for renewals you will either need some JS to negate that field, or send people to a different Contribution page for renewing.

That might help you.
