Success Message is Missing

When I upgrade to 4.3.x in Drupal I see:

The {$message} variable comes out blank however. It should say "Was Successful" or some such I think....

Yes, this is a bug and will be fixed in 4.3.3

More info: this bug exists in 4.3.2 only. This is why we are releasing 4.3.3 today. The bug also prevents the upgrade from doing its final steps, which involve clearing caches and rebuilding database triggers. If you have upgraded any sites to 4.3.2 you should do this manually (or else upgrade to 4.3.3. which will take care of it for you)

Yes, I see now that the 4.3.1 upgrades I did had a long message, as normal.

Rebuilding database triggers I think can be done only via PHP code so I think I will indeed have to upgrade the 4.3.2 upgrades to 4.3.3.

I upgraded today a D7 site from 4.1 to 4.3.3 and got the full message.

Then I upgraded a WordPress site from 4.3.2 to 4.3.3 and got no message. :(

Then I did a D6 site from 4.3.2 to 4.3.3 and got no message. :(

Hmm, I can't reproduce that. I tested WP before releasing 4.3.3 and it worked fine. Just to make sure I also just did a D6 upgrade, and that worked fine as well.

Your tests were on sites that were previously upgraded to 4.3.2?

Yes both of these were upgrading from 4.3.2. One was a dummy site with test data, the other was a real live site with 10k contacts.

I meant were the sites first prior to 4.3.2 and then upgraded to 4.3.2 and then to 4.3.3. Sounds like that's what it was, however. With mine I don't click on the rebuild menus link (I leave that up to my clients) but I don't think that should matter.

OK I have two more left in 4.3.2 I can still try....

Yes in both cases the sites had been through quite a few prior upgrades, they were not fresh 4.3.2 installs.
