This is something I think should be backported for the long term project as without it things will definitely get borked.

I learnt it from an Aussie & found that having heard it once I now had an excuse not to fix my typos (I find it particularly easy to mistype broke as borke - so from there I can either add a 'd' or backspace & re-type ...  I am in typo steeped in so far that twould be as much to go o'er as to return)
