CiviCRM giving blank pages
May 17, 2013, 12:32:29 am
Hi,

I am working on a website for a client using Joomla and CiviCRM. Recently the server the dev site is on underwent maintenance and as a result my website was migrated to another server, which is when the issues started happening.

The paths in the setting files are all the same, nothing has changed apart from the server and IP address.

Currently i cannot access my joomla admin section, or any civicrm pages on the front end. Both give me blank pages with no error codes.

Help with this would be greatly appreciated.

PHP Version: 5.3.24
SQL Version: 5.5.30

Thanks

Kurund Jalmi

I would suggest checking your apache logs for errors. There will give some idea about blank page.

Make sure they didn't change your Database engine from INNODB to ISAM by accident. Total shot in the dark- but we just went through this.

@christianweb: if you cannot reach the /administrator, not even to login, something is seriously wrong with the setup. Try clearing the Joomla #_session table, check the configuration.php for correct tmp folder, make sure its writeable. Let me know if this helps.
