Display events list on another site (just the events)
May 17, 2013, 06:44:34 pm
HI

I'm looking for way to display a list of Civi current and upcoming events on another website site page.

I found a reference to using iframe with and standard events page link but it displays everything (source site headers. footers, side navigation etc.  - I only want the table of events

Is there a different link that can be used?
Is there a way to create a page on the Civi site that has the events only with no header, footer etc to use as the link with iframe on the other site.

Thanks

xavier

Hi,

If you want to be completely flexible on the layout, the easier is to take the raw data in a computer readable format out of civi and read and put the layout in the way you want on the other site.

I don't think there is a rss feed of the event (shouldn't be too complicated to add) but you can take the ical. The html of the presentation is stripped, but it might not be an issue in your case?

Otherwise, you can just take for the iframe a "chromeless" version of the events by adding ?snippet=1 to the events list url
