I recently upgraded to CiviCRM 4.3.3 on a Joomla 2.5.11 development site.  I have noticed that when a logged in user accesses any CiviCRM page, a "Find Contacts" search box shows up near the top of the page.

I have reproduced this on multiple computers/browsers and have verified that the Joomla demo site shows the same behavior (screenshots attached).  On the demo site, log in and then click on any on any of the links presented under the "Try Out the Demo as a Constituent" section.

Is this supposed to happen? 

 

Please is there a temporary fix before 4.3.4 is released? I have spent close to 2hrs trying to figure out how to disable this in the Civicrm backend. I searched all over the Internet trying to find if others have reported this issue until i came across this post. Not sure what to do as we find this a security issue that can be exploited by malicious individuals to try and search donors info.
