NEw to Civi Events
May 20, 2013, 10:02:30 am
HI

I have created this event here - but how to I get them to go to the payment page?

Sorry to ask a dumb question but I am new to this, and can there be some styling applied to the page?

Clicking on REGISTER in top right should take you to the registration page where it would show whatever cost/price set you have set up for the event

But I see you are getting "Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
The requested Profile (gid=15) is disabled OR it is not configured to be used for 'Profile' listings in its Settings OR there is no Profile with that ID OR you do not have permission to access this profile. Please contact the site administrator if you need assistance.:

which pretty much says the issue is either with your Profile (perhaps using an incompatible set of field types) or Permissions - you need Anon to see Profile View and Listings

ok its Joomla but it seems to have the requisite permissions, not sure what you mean by field types when I have chosen fields used in the event settings?

Normally the Profile would be limited to having only Contact (or Individual) and Participant fields. Not 'event' fields.

Try swopping out the Profile with a really simple one if you have any doubts about it just to confirm if that is the issue.

not sure what light that sheds on things given i don't speak joomla.

maybe review the chapter on 'events' but the 'profile' i am referring to is a civi event that you would have included in the event when you set up the Event page in civicrm.

you might need to provide screenshots - seems unusual that it is requesting a payment processor if you have one set to be used for the Event page

not sure i can help much more - best if you put together a similar event with profiles on the joomla demo so others can see the steps you are using - or compare to one of the existing ones there
