Anyone have any Drupal->Wordpress conversion stories to share?

As the subject says, we're deep into migration proposals with Wordpress as the base and I wonder if there are any success or failure stories out there. In particular I wonder how WP handles things like Drupal's Views, which allow creating custom query pages pretty easily (well once you get that frakkin' contextual filter to work right).

I have succeeded at this.

I have no idea what WP has which compares to Views however. But see :

Oh that does look handy!

Would it be possible to ping you to get your opinion of the process? My boss is looking for some reassurance that platform shift won't be a disaster for us.
