CiviCampaign - Surveys - usability suggestion

I would really like to have the ability to Reserve Respondents for Surveys from the Advanced Search form.  Right now, you can only reserve respondents for surveys from a unique form that has few options other than reserving by group or a few geographic fields.  This adds an extra step, as we have to create a special group any time we want to Reserve Respondents to survey a particular subset of our contacts that is not necessarily geographical.  It would be much more convenient to just select the contacts we want to survey using Advanced Search, and reserve them, without any extra steps.

I talked to Alice Aguilar about this at CiviCon and she seemed to think it would be doable (or had already been done?) but I don't know how to find out if anyone is working on it or if there's anything I could do to make it happen.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide...

Leslie

Hi Leslie - this has come up in discussions, but has not been implemented yet as far as I know. I'd start by revisiting the discussion w/ folks at Progressive Tech Project (Alice, Jamie or Josue) to see if it's on their roadmap.
