I stumbled upon an interesting CiviCRM powered website: http://www.thecoachtracker.com/

1. How did they setup the public update feature? Anyone can click "update" on any contact.

2. Who built it? It would be a great case study.

Looks like it was built by Matt Neimeyer, Thimbleweed Consulting. Looks like he is already part of the community http://civicrm.org/blogs/mneimeyer/proto-civisms
