Using profiles / html snippets to register for an event - is it possible?
May 30, 2013, 03:09:05 pm
I am just helping another organisation to implement CiviCRM. Since they currently use Typo3 as their CMS, we have to use profiles and html snippets in order to implement Civi's online functionality.

This seems to work well for adding new contacts and online donations.

However, I did not clearly understand, how to use this for event registration... Is that possible at all? Can I put the complete event registration process into one or more profiles, for which I could extract the html snippets and copy that code into Typo3?

Thanks for any help!!

Greetings, Detlev

Nope. Instead you should link to the reg page on your Civi site.
Using css you could make the theme look similar. Most users don't pay attention to the url they are on anyway (and most are used to external services).
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
