We have a contribution page set up for mailing list sign ups (so we can collect more information) and have configured the profile to put these sign ups into the mailing list 'group'. We have ticked the 'enable double opt in' for both options in the civimail component settings.

Signing up to the mailing list takes me to the confirmation page and then when i proceed it goes to a thank you page.

I do get an email but it's a receipt, and the user is pending in the mailing list membership section. So no confirmation email has been sent for the user to activate their mailing list subscription.

Am i missing something?

Joomla 2.5.11 and Civi 4.3.3
