Problem with Batch Update via Members Profile

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has come across these issues.

I have created  a profile for batch member upate with fields "member type, member status and member expiration date.

I am getting two issues:

    1. When I update one record with a particular member type (ie business membership) and use the copy icon to copy to all the other rows, it sets  the member type for all records to "Associate" (the first value in the drop down)
    2. When I do the batch update, all the expiration dates are cleared.   I have seen a similar issue here http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-7986.  But apparently it has been fixed.

I havent see the first issue anywhere in the forums. 

Has anyone come across these issues and is there a patch you can apply?

this might be bug, specific to date fields.. can you try to replicate this on http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org
