Public display of listing from profile
June 03, 2013, 09:31:07 am
I have a 3 websites using civicrm, in the most recent version of civicrm i have lost a feature that I use a great deal.
On the public side of the website I would display a list of member organizations with additional information. How I would get to the link would be to do a profile search, then view full listing. Grab that URL and make it a page in the menu. I did the same with the Map Locations.
For example, listing is results of: Displaying contacts where:
Contacts IN DSA AND Group Status - "Added"
Worked like a charm! until now. In the more current version of civicrm there is a key that is embedded in the path and now only registered users after logging in can see it.
Is there another approach to do what i need? can I disable the key? Can i disable the key for just this purpose? The benefit of this functionality is great.

Thanks so much, Karen-Ann

I'm trying to do the same thing. Being totally new to this I am not sure what method works best, and I've been trying to do this with Views 3 integration. No luck.

In your case it sounds like the problem might be with the Permissions for the Profile?

You can try to create the listing directly

try /civicrm/profile?gid=17&reset=1&force=1&search=0

Substitute 17 with your own profile ID
