custom field set not showing up in search builder
June 04, 2013, 09:23:46 am
One field set that I created, all the fields show up in the search builder, but the other one, I can't search on any of the fields in search builder.

The only difference is that the one I can't search properly on is a multiple record field set. Both field sets show up fine in advanced search though. Is this just a bug that needs to be fixed? I couldn't find anything about this in the forums.

Is the 'Make Field Searchable" Check box checked on the fields that are not appearing in search builder?

Yes, I meant to mention that in my original post. Thanks for asking.

Thanks much, Lobo. Seems weird to me that Advanced Search can do it, but not Search Builder, but I'm happy to know for sure what's going on.

Do you have a large amount of data in these fields or did you do anything unusual to create field options?

Hi CiviFan,
I'm trying to find out the solution as the same OP.  I have a large amount of data that are stored in the "custom field with multiple records" fields and I'm told to export them.  Do you have any workaround on how I can do it?  My thread is below.  Any advice is appreciated!
