Correct uninstalling procedure (on Joomla)
June 13, 2013, 01:04:24 am
Hi everybody.
I tried to do an upgrade from 4.0.7 to 4.3.3 with lots of troubles. Then I decided to fully uninstall the 4.0.7 (it was just recently installed, no big data yet, I just edited my profile). So from Joomla's extensions management I tried to uninstall the 2 CiviCRM components but I got several errors at the end and at the same time I couldn't even drop all the tables from the phpmyadmin.

What can I do?
Thanks

What errors did you get? Can you post them?

I performed a very radical thing: I've cleaned up everything and installed a new Joomla from scratches and then CiviCRM 4.3.3. After the installation I received again a fatal db problem, but now everything looks ok...
I'll keep you updated.

Just in case... what is the correct procedure to uninstall CiviCRM?
Thanks!
