Author Topic: Pro-populating event registration when adding from contact (Read 2632 times)

I just recently moved CiviCRM from Joomla to Wordpress. Previously when I was in a contact record and went to add that contact to an event, most of the event registration fields were prepopulated by the contact record information. Now when I do this in Wordpress, none of those fields are prepopulated. This was a huge time-saver. Is this currently not a feature supported by CiviCRM for WP or am I not doing something?

You probably need to supply some more info including the type of url you refer to.

When you say 'event registration fields were prepopulated' are you talking about 'registering as someone else' or 'adding a Participant record' ie front end or back end.

I don't see how you would be prepopulating the event rego page with someone elses details unless you had some customisation going on that was pushing their id through to the rego page.
