User complaints that PayPal Pro does not process properly
June 18, 2013, 09:12:39 am
I've been trying to debug this but it's been quite difficult.  On 4.3.3 some events with 2 profiles work properly with paypal pro, but I'm getting complaints which are recent, that when a user hits "continue" they are not advanced to the confirmation page.  I see no errors in the log, and they are anonymous.  I have checked apache and system logs but nothing out of the ordinary.  I'm running jquery update and can see it is at 1.83.  Since I have to ask end-users (who are unable or unwilling to describe errors), it is possible they meant after hitting the continue on the confirmation screen and the error is related to connecting to paypal.

1. Wondering if this resonates with an error others are experiencing.
2. Suggestions on how to debug.
3. If paypal has an error or timeout is this logged in drupal watchdog or elsewhere?
4. Could this be PHP-IDS intrusion detection related?  note that mod_security is off.

I've spent quite a bit of time tracking this down, and client (who I volunteer for) is understandably concerned.

Is anyone able to recreate the error? Where these users able to pay for events/contributions previously?
