Logged the following issue with civicrm 4.3.4 (Drupal 7):

Upgraded from civicrm 4.1.2 to 4.3.4 (drupal 7)

Selected few groups to send mass email. Checked the box 'Remove Duplicate emails'

The Mailing Report (from Scheduled and Sent Mailing menu item) shows Successful deliveries (11000) almost twice the Intended recipients (6000). Clicked the Successful deliveries link and found that most of the contacts were listed twice.

This used to behave fine in 4.1.2.

Hi,

I noticed the same issue in one site. I have Civi 4.3.5 on Joomla! 2.5.14.

Bellow are the numbers involved:

Intended - Deliveries (rate)

7744  -  10436 (134.76%)

7756  -  8613 (111.05%)

506  -  950 (187.75%)

Looking at the reports, there's a lot of contacts appearing twice or more in the list.

I'm using a smart group of mailing contacts and "e-mail ()" as sending method.

Is there a plan to fix this issue?

Would help if you can investigate and figure out whats happening and why. Please do submit a patch once u've done so
