CiviCRM CSS not styling correctly
July 02, 2013, 08:03:44 pm
I am rebuilding a site for our non profit and have some problems with CiviCRM CSS's.  I am not a developer and have been fighting this for a while.  Not sure what is going on but civi pages on front end and backend of Joomla are not styling properly.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Joomla - 2.5.11
PHP - 5.3.26
MySQL - 5.5.31
CiviCRM - 4.3.4

See attached for view of problem.  We have been offline for quite some time while I figure this out.

More helpful than screenshots would be your page source. This problem will fall into 1 of 2 categories:
- the file civicrm.css isn't being loaded at all
or
- the file is being called but the path is incorrect

Open up the source of your page and search for "civicrm.css" - see if it's there at all
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

Thanks for the input.  I just figured it out.  For some reason I put the path in the resource URL for CSS.  Once I removed it all was well.  Many thanks,
Brandon :)
