Changing Shared Address doesn't end relationship
July 04, 2013, 11:44:38 am
I've been playing around with households recently, as our data comes in a form where every address has a unique ID and every person another one. It made sense two create sets of households and individuals and then link them with a shared address and a household member relationship.

When you select share address for an individual, and select a household a new relationship is created automatically. Great. However, if they move to a new household, then another relationship is created, but the old one is not deleted or ended.

I imagine this is not a bug, but just hasn't been developed yet. I'm happy to file an issue work on it, but before I do, I just want to understand if there is a reason that I'm not thinking of as to why this would be the case.
