We have a workshop that allows people to sign up as a participant or facilitator, each with a different price.
When creating an event with the standard create event workflow , it appears we have to decide what role we are targeting (ie. Attendee). We can create an additional profile that let's the user select the role (although I think we have to expose all roles unless we do some coding.) The problem, however, is that the price is the same. The only workaround I can see without coding is to create a separate event for each role. Am I missing something? This seems like a common use case, so wondering if someone has an easy solution.

IMO , for exposing all participant role in CiviCRM Profile without coding, you can add "Participant role" field .For Role based price set yes if you are doing without coding than create event for each role and set price set accordingly . But customization/Extension which allows us to set price set at Participant role level that will be good contribution
