Can't access civi menus from dashboard after WP upgrade 4.3.5

I just followed the directions and upgraded.  Now I can get to the CiviCRM dashboard, but once there I only have the standard wordpress menus on the top (add a post, etc.).  I can't get into the Civi backend at all.

Did you clear your template files?

Try opening the page in Firefox with Firebug installed and look in the Console tab for any errors.

On the server, delete:

    <wordpress-root>/wp-content/plugins/files/civicrm/templates_c/*
    <wordpress-root>/wp-content/plugins/files/civicrm/ConfigAndLog/Config.IDS.ini
