Attach files to Contacts
July 10, 2013, 01:42:10 am
Hi there,

I'm new to CiviCRM and I'm trying to attach files to Contacts. I create a new custom field set called Allegati, then I have created a file field whitin the set. Now my custom field set is not displayed in the create contacts form... On saving the file field I receive a Notice about undefined index.

Am I missing something? Is there a better way to achieve this?

I attached two pictures to show the Notice and the options I set to implement my custom field set. Sorry for my english! :P

Since you've selected the 'allow multiple records' option for this custom data set, the custom fields will appear in a separate Tab rather then Inline in the contact edit form. View one of your contacts (contact summary) and you should see a new tab labeled 'Allegati'.

You're right! I had misunderstood the meaning of tab and inline field set. Thanks for the help!
