No longer receiving replies after upgrade to 4.3.4

After I upgraded to 4.3.4, I started receiving bounces to replies. This is because the settings in CiviMail/Mail Accounts got changed so the the domain was no longer lists.vnanmalwelfare.org but just vnanimalwelfare.org.

I made the corrections but now, although I am not getting bounces to the replies, I am not getting any replies. The auto-reply is not working either.

One of the reply addresses is: r.49.43.b1f5bfedf91f480b@lists.vnanimalwelfare.org

We are stuck. I'm just about to ask people to sign up for a newsletter start fundraising and now this no longer works. I need help.

The Mail Account settings only has lists.vnanimalwelfare.org for the domain, IMAP for the protocol and used for bounce processing, exactly as I had it before the upgrade.

Silly me. I see that the patch you supplied earlier did not make it into 4.3.4. I'll reapply it now.

I have applied the patches again and tested the settings:

Civimail User Check : successfully authenticated.
SMTP Authorization Check : SMTP Authorization Succeeded! This proves that the SMTP server is up and that the SMTP Authorization is working with the SMTP username and SMTP password you have entered.
Email Domain Check : The MX records for lists.vnanimalwelfare.org are correctly configured
SMTP Account settings updated for vnanimalwelfare

I am still not getting replies.

we are still working on this.

as a temp solution you can send your emails out without reply tracking - this setting is checked when creating a mailing, simply uncheck it and replies will go directly to the from address.

Our first step is to get people to sign up for our newsletter. When they do, they get a confirmation email with the VERP address in the reply field so we'd never get the reply if they choose to reply.

Also, we do want to track so we'll have to wait.

We just finished testing a fix for this and submitted a bug report with CCRM:

http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-13057

To fix this on your instance:

1. open the file api/v3/Mailing.php and modify the following line in function _civicrm_api3_mailing_event_reply_spec:

2. open the file CRM/Mailing/Event/BAO/Reply.php and modify line 138 in CRM_Mailing_Event_BAO_Reply::send
