Staged bulk contributions gone in test DB
July 11, 2013, 10:23:33 am
After migrating a civi DB from prod to test, clicking 'Enter records' on a contribution batch yields blank results (on test).

Where are these staged batches stored? (I see the batch entry in civicrm_batch...)

"Staged" batches are stored in civicrm_cache table and with civicrm_cache.group_name = 'batch entry'.

Since they are in civicrm_cache, does that mean they are lost if one upgrades from e.g. 4.2.9 to 4.3.5?

I'm currently seeing that in my tests, but have not yet found the code to confirm this.  (Don't need the code, just the confirmation.)

Thanks!

Nevermind.  Just found CRM_Core_Config::clearDBCache() that has the line: 'TRUNCATE TABLE civicrm_cache'

But dumping civicrm_cache in 4.2.9 and re-loading it in 4.3.5 doesn't save refill the cached batch entries.  Any ideas/pointers on this?  (still looking...)

If they show up in the cache table I would think they would show up in the UI if the corresponding batch is present and in Open status. ???
