I have a couple of sites that make use of the Drupal module CiviEvent Discount. According to that project page development has moved to the CiviDiscount Extension, and the scant information that I can find suggests that there is no upgrade/migration path from one to the other, and also indicates that some of the functionality of the Drupal module is not available in the extension. Also it looks as if the module won't work with more recent versions of CiviCRM,  although again this isn't clear.

Before I get involved in trying to migrate and update it would be great to know:

1. Does the Drupal module still work with more recent versions of CiviCRM (4.2.x, 4.3.x)?
2. Anyone know what functionality is not available in the extension that is in the module (if it won't do what my client needs then I need to look at alternatives)

and last but not least,

3. Can anyone who made the move offer any tips about how to cleanly and painlessly move from module to extension?
