Need Help Starting Over
July 13, 2013, 09:00:29 pm
I upgraded to 4.3.3 and got some trigger errors but it appears that the upgrade finished (I think). However since then I've been getting random errors here and there about db field not found. What I'd like to do (I think) is to start fresh with a clean install and import my data into the new install.

I don't have that much data: maybe 300 contacts but I do have quite alot of activities.

What tables should I dump to get  my data out?
How do I handle the custom fields/tables?

Is there an sql file that has the most recent schema I can just run in phpmyadmin to set up the db or do I need to just run a new install to make that happen?

Is there a better way to "fix" my db to make sure it's the latest schema without having to do all this?

Try this page

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC43/Ensuring+Schema+Integrity+on+Upgrades

Looking at the version in your civicrm_domain table should give you a clue as to whether it is partially upgraded - there is a procedure at the bottom for partially upgraded.

NB - if you manage to work through it I think that page could do with a bit of an edit
