Membership: change text when creating login account

I am using a Contribution page for the membership application of a non-profit. When the user joins, a user account is created.

I want to change 2 messages that need the english cleaned up.
-> Please enter a user name to create an account. If you already have an account, please login before completing this form.
->Your preferred username; punctuation is not allowed except for periods, hyphens, and underscores.

Where can I find these 2 messages?
Joomla2.5.9/civicrm 4.2.8

1. Can you upgrade to a later version of CiviCRM?

2. Can you post here your preferred texts? CiviCRM relies on the input of everyone to make it the best product it can be. Some contribute PHP code and others contribute grammar corrections, but every contribution helps. :)

->Punctuation is not allowed in a Username with the exception of periods, hyphens and underscores.

Note; i used the search and replace function in civi and it replaced one of the "User Name" to "Username", but did not do so in these 2 messages. Will the newer version help in this area, what are my benefits to do this immediately? I do plan to upgrade the civicrm, and also want to upgrade Joomla to 3.1.1. Would love to get these 2 corrections done first though.

Seems "username" is correct and "user name" is less correct: http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/43436/username-user-name-or-user-name

Can you file an Issue (link above -- top of this page) for this fix?

Hi Hershel - ISSUE FILED. And yes that is correct, and upper case U is needed, the consistency of the word throughout. Also wording in second line was gramatically incorrect.
Where can I find these 2 phrases so I can fix the english?
