Advanced Settings not showing
July 23, 2013, 09:09:20 am
The "Advanced Settings" are not showing when editing our profiles.

There is this error:
Quote
User warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "CRM/UF/Form/AdvanceSetting.tpl" in Smarty->trigger_error() (line 1094 of <site root>/www/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/Smarty/Smarty.class.php).

So far I've:
  • Verified "AdvanceSetting.tpl" is present with correct permissions (644).
  • Deleted everything in the "templates_c" directory
  • Cleaned-up the caches via the CiviCRM administration

This site started with 4.3.1 and was recently upgraded to 4.3.5.

Also, my cloned local site (on MAMP) does not have this problem (so I don't think it is a javascript issue) -- however, I can't remember if I upgraded this local site from 4.3.1. to 4.3.5 or just did a fresh install of 4.3.5 (so may be an upgrade issue).

What should my next step be?

Re-uploading the entire civicrm module folder seems to have fixed the problem; probably there was something off in the first upload.

[Note: be sure to move the old civicrm folder out of the modules directory as I learned that having two civicrm folders under "sites/all/modules" causes things to break (this is on a Drupal install).]
