Unable to choose -No Profile- for additional participants

CiviCRM 4.1.3

I have set up an event that allows multiple participants. I need to use a different profile for the 2nd and subsequent participants. Only one us required so I chose -no profile- for the top and another profile for the bottom.

The problem is that after I save, CCRM always changes it to -same as for main contact-, which adds a field to the form that is irrelevant for an additional participant.
