Plain text layout problems when viewed in Outlook

Hi

When sending Civi mailings, I always send a test to a small verification group first.  The HTML versions look fine but the plain text versions look terrible when viewed through Outlook.  They show no spaces or hard returns so the message is completely bunched up and if I received it, I probably wouldn't read it.   

They seem to be fine on most browsers and email clients but I'm hesitant to send mailings in case people are getting the same view as me.

Any thoughts/help/similar experiences?

What version of Outlook?

You really using CiviCRM 3.3?

Do you type in the text version manually? Or copy and paste? If so, from where? From MS Word?

Hi

Apologies for lack of detail previously.

I am using Outlook 2010.  I have also updated my forum profile to show I am using Civi 4.2.6 and Wordpress 3.4.2.

On this occasion I typed the text manually into the plain text box but I have the same issues when I am pasting text in from a wordchimp conversion from HTML or from a MS Word (2010) document.

Thanks for responding - would appreciate any help.

I have no idea except to suggest that you upgrade WordPress and CiviCRM and see if that helps.
