Online Registration will Not Save

Hello,

I'm having an issue that is stopping me from saving the Online Registration info when I create a new event. After I click the checkbox and fill out all of the registration info, when I click "Save" or "Save and Done" it brings me to the home page of the website. No errors. When I return to the Event, it looks as though I never checked the checkbox.

Does anyone know why this might be happening? I just took over this site and transferred it to different hosting not too long ago.

check the hostname of the url before you hit save and after you hit save

seems like the hostname might be different, which indicates a settings issue

Thanks for your reply, my url's read as follows:

Before saving the Online Registration: mydomain.com/index.php?q=civicrm/event/manage/fee&reset=1&action=update&id=80

After saving: mydomain.com/index.php

By hostname, do you mean the domain name?

Any ideas?

I got this working!

I had a previous event that had Online Registration enabled which I went into and tried saving. It worked no problem. So I compared the event I was trying to save to this previous event and I noticed that the "Introductory Text" under "Thank-you Screen" was missing. I filled in the text on my event, saved and it then worked. So it seems, for me, that if the "Introductory Text" is not filled in (despite not being a required field), it would cause things to fail.
