Automatically Schedule Follow up on Activity
August 06, 2013, 08:11:04 pm
What would be the easiest way to automate the scheduling of a follow up activity for a specific activity?

Details: I have an activity called First Time Visit and other activities called VF-Letter, VF-Phone Call, VF-Email. When a person visits the church the first time they get an activity entered as first time visit and then we have a set schedule at when a visitor follow-up activity is done. I'd love to see some sort of predefined rule that can be set at the activity type level sort of like the timeline of CiviCase that when it's created then The activity creates the follow up activities automatically based on the predefined timeline.

How involved would it be to have that code written any guess as to a price? Any suggestions on how to do this another way?
