Multiple renewal length options?
August 12, 2013, 01:43:04 am
Hi,

I've got an organisation set up with rolling membership terms, and a 1 year membership. However, for renewals, we want to offer up to 5 year memberships at once. What is the easiest way to implement this? We will be offering discounts for multiple years as well

I've just set up a price set for the 5 years, but noticed that I did not get the option to choose duration of membership, do I need to create 4 new membership types for these multiple year terms, despite not wanting to have any other different settings?

Is there an easier way to achieve this?

Thanks

joanne

Creating a new membership type for each different duration is how we deal with it.  We then have one price set offering the different membership types/durations.

After all, one of the main settings for a membership type is its duration.

I don't think you can do it any other way.
