Component Install: DB function reports no errors
Error installing component

See a printscr attached

When I check the mysql database the civicrm tables are created but no component is installed in the backend of Joomla. I tried deleting all the tables and reinstalling but get the same error. Any help would be kindly appreciated.

Hard to say what may have gone wrong. Perhaps you can check the server error logs or try to enable some type of logging in Joomla (such as http://docs.joomla.org/Using_JLog ) and try again.
